| Abstract: | La presente investigación buscó elucidar cómo algunas de las nuevas formas de autorrepresentación digital en las redes sociales se relacionan con la pérdida gradual de la intimidad de los individuos, fenómeno que se presenta cuando haciendo uso de las redes sociales, los usuarios publican videos y/o fotografías en las que comparten momentos de su cotidianidad, resultando de suma satisfacción el permitir el libre acceso a su privacidad, derivando, en algunos casos en la vulneración de la propia intimidad. Resulta muy pertinente el estudio de los fenómenos que se suscitan en las redes sociales debido al papel protagónico que estas ocupan en nuestra era, en donde la conectividad se ha vuelto inherente a la cultura general y donde las redes sociales han llegado a formar parte de los hábitos de trabajo, socialización y entretenimiento de gran parte de la población, sobre todo de los jóvenes. Las redes sociales ya no se pueden considerar solamente como un medio de comunicación, sino que se han convertido en el registro de un número infinito de momentos y vivencias personales y han ido ocupando un lugar central no sólo dentro de la web, sino también en la vida diaria de las personas. Por ello resulta muy importante que los efectos derivados del uso de este tipo de tecnologías sean abordados desde una perspectiva filosófica. |
