Description: One of the problems that have been found in the teaching of Calculus is the difficulty of students to achieve a satisfactory understanding of the concepts. One of those concepts is the limit, which has been a recurring research topic in Educational Mathematics for years. In the literature, it is a widely accepted fact that the limit is a difficult notion for most students, specifically, the teaching of the concept of the limit of a function of two variables is identified as an area of opportunity, since there is little research on teaching and learning this concept. In this sense, the objective of this document is the design of a learning sequence of the concept of the limit of a function of two variables using GeoGebra 3D. The decision to use this software is because 3D plotting can facilitate the learning of functions and the development of spatial visualization skills. GeoGebra 3D was used to offer a graphical representation and for the students to carry out the manipulation of parameters (and it´s variation), the rotation of the graphic elements and the simulation of a three-dimensional perspective; in essence, it was about taking advantage of the dynamism that GeoGebra 3D offers. On the other hand, in order to show the understanding that the learning sequence was intended to promote, principles of Duval's Theory of Registers of Semiotic Representations were taken into consideration. This theory makes use of two types of transformation in the contexts of representation: treatment and conversion. For the design, the graphic registers were taken as the central axis, through the graph of the function of two variables, and the algebraic register that is present in the definition of functional limit, as well as the verbal register, also present in the definition limit of a scalar function of two variables. It is considered that through the proposed learning sequence, empirical data can be provided on the benefits or disadvantages of the implementation of the technology, in this case the GeoGebra 3D software, in learning the concept of limit. On the other hand, this research followed a methodology with a qualitative, cross-sectional, non-experimental, and empirical approach. The learning sequence was built taking into account the learning objectives for the limit topic, focusing on the definition so that said concept was understood; and the registers of graphic, algebraic and verbal representation were used as the basis for the design of the tasks and activities. On the other hand, the application of the learning sequence was carried out virtually with 4 students of a College degree in mathematics. Regarding the results, it was obtained that most of the students carried out the treatments in the graphic and algebraic representation registers and to a lesser extent in the verbal register, and in reference to the realization of conversions it is reported that all the students could carry out some conversion, these could go from the register of graphic representation to the verbal register, or from the register algebraic representation to the verbal register. From the evidence obtained from the students' productions, it is considered important to take into account some characteristics that in our opinion are relevant to consider when designing a learning sequence such as the one proposed here. Some of these characteristics are: that there is an intention in the proposed transformations; that there is an adequate choice of representation registers; that a dynamic interaction is promoted between the students and the GeoGebra 3D software.
