dc.descriptionThe idea of “patria” (homeland) in El libro rojo (1870), of Vicente Riva Palacio and Manuel Payno, is an imaginary ideological construction made by the mexican establishment, that is to say Mexican liberalism, trying to implement liberal nationalism in Mexican society of the last third of the 19th Century. To achieve this, they used some literary rhetoric strategies and History, creating a story about the country that continues having some influence on the nationalism of the current Mexico.es_ES
dc.description.abstractLa idea de “patria” en El libro rojo (1870), de Vicente Riva Palacio y Manuel Payno, es una construcción ideológica imaginaria elaborada por el grupo en el poder, en este caso el liberalismo mexicano, en su intento por implantar el nacionalismo liberal en la sociedad mexicana del último tercio del siglo XIX. Para lograr esto se valieron de algunas estrategias literarias persuasivas y de la Historia, creando así un relato sobre la patria que sigue teniendo alguna influencia en el nacionalismo del México actual.es_ES
