| Abstract: | El objetivo de este trabajo es analizar un fragmento de nuestra historia mexicana en la que se evidenció la configuración de una identidad fraguada y manifestada en la primera mitad del siglo XX, a través de un complejo movimiento armado aderezado con tintes político-religiosos que dio como resultado el levantamiento de una parte de la población civil en contra de las fuerzas federales. La cristiada, es un relato histórico que permite comprender los diversos escenarios en los que se desarrolló este conflicto armado que revela, entre otras cuestiones, la complejidad de los mundos simbólicos de quienes participaron en ese suceso histórico. |
| Description: | The aim of this work is to analyze a fragment of our Mexican history that reveals the formation of an identity forged and manifested in the first half of the 20th century through a complex armed movement imbued with political and religious undertones. This movement resulted in the uprising of a portion of the civilian population against federal forces. The Cristiada War is a historical narrative that allows us to understand the diverse contexts in which this armed conflict unfolded, revealing, among other things, the complexity of the symbolic worlds of those who participated in this historical event. |
