| dc.description | The thesis entitled “Woman, body and writing in the novel El tono menor del deseo by Pía Barros” studies the life of its two protagonists immersed in a patriarchal world, of submission and dictatorship from which they try to free themselves. The research focuses on an analysis that begins with the relationship between the novel and the events that occurred in Chile during the 1970s and 1980s, initiated with the overthrow of Salvador Allende and the militarization of Augusto Pinochet, continuing with its structure, where elements such as polyphony, spaces and symbolic objects that endow and resignify the novel stand out, to finally conclude with the release of the protagonists, which manifests itself through the body, eroticism and writing. | en_US |
| en_US |
