| Abstract: | Según (Vilalta, Los Determinantes de la Percepción de Inseguridad Frente al Delito en México, 2012) Las investigaciones acerca de la percepción de inseguridad y miedo al delito son un tema relativamente nuevo en México, pues este tipo de investigaciones comenzaron a aparecer en la década final del siglo XX y se despertó un interés por investigar al respecto a partir del año 2006. Este incremento de interés, también se debió al aumento en las cifras de percepción de inseguridad y desconfianza en las autoridades de seguridad pública en América Latina. Dichas cifras suelen ser encabezadas frecuentemente por países como Guatemala, Honduras, Venezuela, El Salvador y México. Además, en las últimas emisiones de la Encuesta Nacional de Seguridad Pública Urbana (ENSU), investigación de carácter cuantitativo que realiza el Instituto Nacional de Estadística y Geografía cada tres meses en 52 localidades, denominadas como ciudades de interés, las cifras muestran a Zacatecas y Fresnillo como unas de las ciudades con mayor percepción de inseguridad por parte de sus pobladores. Los sucesos delictivos se han incrementado en el Estado en los últimos años debido al fenómeno del crimen organizado, dicho tema también ha incrementado su presencia en las agendas mediáticas de los noticieros locales, los cuales han encontrado la manera de atraer la atención de los espectadores mediante el tratamiento y transmisión de este tipo de información. |
