| Abstract: | The article aims to critically investigate the context in which the fascination for the culture of innovation has been created from the work of the North American economist Joseph A. Schumpeter. To do this, it is based on the contrast between the vision of education as a transmitter of cultural traditions and the value given to the criterion of innovation as a fundamental element of the tradition that emerges from capitalist society. Starting with Jean Baudrillard, with his theory of the structural revolution of value, related to the loss of referents associated with it. The article aims to show how the culture of educational innovation responds to this revolution in which, above all, the loss of references and the exaltation of exchange value stand out. |
| Description: | El artículo se propone indagar de manera crítica el contexto en el que se ha creado la fascinación por la cultura de la innovación a partir de la obra del economista norteamericano Joseph A. Schumpeter. Para ello se basa en la contraposición entre la visión de la educación como transmisora de tradiciones culturales y el valor concedido al criterio de innovación como elemento fundamental de la tradición que emerge de la sociedad capitalista. A partir de Jean Baudrillard, con su teoría de la revolución estructural del valor, relacionada con la pérdida de referentes asociados a éste. El artículo se propone mostrar cómo la cultura de la innovación educativa responde a dicha revolución en la que sobre todo destaca la pérdida de referentes y la exaltación del valor de cambio. |
