| Abstract: | el artículo corresponde a la Conferencia Magistral impartida el 20 de noviembre de 2019, en Roatán, Islas de la Bahía, Honduras; en el marco de las III Jornadas de Estudios Afrocentroamericanos. En dichas Jornadas, la autora, tomando como base su experiencia personal de vida, y apoyándose en una perspectiva, así como teorización de índole históricas, realiza un breve recorrido de lo que ha sido el devenir de dichos estudios, priorizando los aportes desde lo afrocentroamericano, y especialmente por parte de las mujeres afrodescendientes. |
| Description: | the article corresponds to the Keynote Lecture addressed the 20th November, 2019, in Roatan, Bay Islands, Honduras, framed by the Third Afro Central American Studies Sessions. In this Sessions, the author, based on her personal life experience, and leaning upon a historical perspective and theorization, gives a brief overview of what has been the development of these studies, prioritizing the contributions from the Afro Central Americans, and especially from Afrodescendant women. |
