Resumen:
Como conciliadora del afán filosófico por las dicotomías, existe otra faceta en la historia del
pensamiento humano, en la cual se considera como parte de una unidad todo aquello que
mediante el análisis racional se presenta como separado. Si bien la constitución de nuestras
instituciones actuales está cimentada en este modelo dicotómico, en el desarrollo de la tesis
vamos a ir señalando algunas consecuencias negativas que ha tenido sobre todo en la
formación de los individuos.
Tenemos que ser libres, es un imperativo, la razón nos obliga a emanciparnos bajo sus propios
términos, mientras que la felicidad queda como un proyecto a futuro. Sin embargo, ambos
principios son igual de importantes dentro de cada individuo, para él mismo y en sus
relaciones a nivel social. Para ponerlos nuevamente en relación consideraremos la puesta en
práctica de Alfredo Ramos Martínez con las Escuelas de Pintura al Aire Libre, como un
modelo pedagógico que no sólo respondió a las necesidades artísticas del momento, sino
también se ocupó del individuo y su relación con el entorno. De igual manera, en términos
teóricos encontraremos fundamento en varios autores, de los cuales el principal es Friedrich
Schiller y su planteamiento sobre la educación estética.

As a conciliator of the philosophical eagerness for dichotomies, there is another facet of the
history of human thought, in which everything that through rational analysis presents as
separate, is considered as part of a unity. Although the constitution of our current institutions
is based on this dichotomous model, in the development of the thesis we will point out some
negative consequences that it has had especially in the formation of individuals. We must be free, it is an imperative, reason forces us to emancipate ourselves under its own
terms, while happiness remains as a future project. However, both principles are equally
important within everyone, for himself and in his relationships at the social level. To put
them back in relation we will consider the implementation of Alfredo Ramos Martínez with
the Outdoor Painting Schools, as a pedagogical model that not only responded to the artistic
needs of the moment, but also took care of the individual and his relationship with the
environment. In theoretical terms, we will find foundations in several authors, of which the
main one is Friedrich Schiller and his approach to aesthetic education.
