Psychological intervention from a behavioral approach could be conceptualized as a process of
learning whose purpose is to provide tools so that the individual can perform in the field of it and therefore find solutions through new behaviors that allow their well-being. Under this premise, this work addresses psychological intervention in institutional settings. The chapters show scenarios that influence the teaching-learning processes in Higher Education Institutions and at the basic level.
This first volume describes how the professional psychologist, a student of human behavior, has the ability to intervene in institutional settings.
of Education. In a first chapter the factors that can affect the teaching practice and the methodological proposal to detect and intervene in case of mobbing in the teaching work are exposed; the second chapter is addressed to higher education students, it shows the importance of establishing
income profiles, as well as the analysis of school trajectories; and in the third and last chapter, focused on a basic level, an invitation is made to the practice of reading studied from the subject and the intervention of culture itself.
The little or no combination of research and empirical studies that encompass the various actors in education and the way in which their importance is addressed in this research, establishes the bases for a systematic work on the subject.
