This thesis by Ezequiel Carlos Campos (Autonomous University of Zacatecas) proposes an innovative approach to teaching poetry in secondary school through a "poetics of sensibility." Challenging the traditional focus on rote memorization, the author introduces a pedagogical workshop centered on the five senses. Through two initiatives implemented in Fresnillo, Zacatecas, he utilizes an anthology of local poets to awaken the students' sensory faculties as a precursor to textual comprehension. Grounded in constructivism, the theory of multiple intelligences, and the "New Mexican School" (Nueva Escuela Mexicana) framework, the project aims to foster meaningful learning and establish a direct connection between lyrical literature and the community.en_US
