| dc.description | The reflection of the political, economic, religious, and social life of the Diocese of Durango during the 17th century led to the formation of a well-defined region within the Governorate of Nueva Vizcaya. The objective of this work is to articulate historical explanations and background information on the formation of socio-religious identity in that region in a continuous text without sections. Emphasis is placed on some of the contexts in which the Governorate of Nueva Vizcaya and the Diocese of Durango began to take shape: the region to the south of Durango. Several historical contexts related to the development of a nascent identity in the aforementioned region are also analyzed. This work focuses on the vicissitudes surrounding the territorial formation of the Diocese of Nueva Vizcaya in relation to that of Nueva Galicia. | en_US |
| dc.description.abstract | El reflejo de la vida política, económica, religiosa y social del obispado de Durango durante el siglo xvii dio lugar a la conformación de una región bien definida en la gobernación de la Nueva Vizcaya. El objetivo de este trabajo es articular explicaciones históricas y antecedentes de la conformación de la pertenencia sociorreligiosa en esa región en un texto continuo sin apartados.Se hace énfasis en algunos de los contextos donde se comenzó a gestar la gobernación de la Nueva Vizcaya y el obispado de Durango: la región al sur de éste. También, son analizados algunos contextos históricos a propósito de la gestación de una naciente identidad en la región mencionada. Se orienta este trabajo en las vicisitudes alrededor de la conformación territorial del obispado de la Nueva Vizcaya respecto del de la Nueva Galicia. | en_US |
