| Abstract: | Se realiza una revisión de las provisiones y las cédulas reales enviadas a al Audiencia de La Plata de los Charcas, durante el siglo XVI. El objetivo: verificar la importancia para ambas instancias, de la construcción de una red física caminos (reales y secundarios o ramales) en la jurisdicción de dicha audiencia; otro tanto se hace para establecer la participación de la Corona en la llamada construcción del imaginario de comunicación con base en caminaría física. Se revisan avances, retroceso y usos de la política de comunicación de La Corona para ese ámbito andino del virreinato del Perú. |
| Description: | A review is conducted of the royal decrees and provisions sent to the Audiencia of La Plata de los Charcas during the 16th century. The objective is to verify the importance, for both the Audiencia and the public, of the construction of a physical road network (royal and secondary or branch roads) within the jurisdiction of said audiencia. The review also seeks to establish the Crown's role in shaping the communication landscape based on this physical road network. The advances, setbacks, and uses of the Crown's communication policy for this Andean region of the Viceroyalty of Peru are examined. |
