| dc.description | This work employs methods of hermeneutical analysis and revision of a portion of Sor Juana Inés de la Cruz's work, historical and historiographical revisionism of the contexts in which the Hieronymite poet lived, and contemporary analyses of her life and work, particularly Octavio Paz's book, *Sor Juana Inés de la Cruz o las trampas de la fe* (Sor Juana Inés de la Cruz or the Traps of Faith). An analytical sequence is applied: from the hermeneutics of literature, seeking visions and images of violence and its social, political, and religious representations in the colonial period. | en_US |
