| dc.description | The title "Worth a Centenary" has denotations and connotations that imply, for the city of Zacatecas, the state, and also for the country, commemorating one hundred years since the Battle of Zacatecas or the Taking of Zacatecas, an event that changed the course of the Mexican Revolution that began in 1910. This series of essays aims to disseminate some aspects related to that historical event and to help us learn a little more about our history, and to highlight the different meanings that the Taking of Zacatecas has acquired, culminating on June 23, 1914. | en_US |
