dc.descriptionThe university teacher plays a fundamental role in the training of professionals; however, your profile description has not been fully defined. This work is specifically interested in expanding knowledge about the university teacher, to achieve this, the positions of theorists on the subject, the international, national and local educational policies on the University teacher, and the analysis of the field work carried out in this investigation. The objective of this is to characterize the professor of the Academic Unit of Higher Education (UADS) of the UAZ, based on their training, practice, skills and evaluation. The methodology used was quantitative with a descriptive scope, using a questionnaire for data collection as an instrument. The instrument was answered by 35 teachers from the Academic Unit in question and the results report on the academic and professional training of the UADS teacher; the practice of the teacher, the skills of this university professor, and the evaluation to which the teacher is subjected.en_US
dc.description.abstractEl docente universitario juega un rol fundamental en la formación de profesionistas; sin embargo, la descripción de su perfil no se ha definido por completo. Este trabajo se interesa específicamente por ampliar el conocimiento a cerca del enseñante universitario, para lograrlo se abordan las posturas de los teóricos sobre el tema, las políticas educativas internacionales, nacionales y locales sobre el docente Universitario, y el análisis del trabajo de campo realizado en esta investigación. El objetivo de la presente, es caracterizar al profesor de la Unidad Académica de Docencia Superior (UADS) de la UAZ, a partir de su formación, práctica, competencias y evaluación. La metodología usada fue cuantitativa con un alcance descriptivo, utilizando como instrumento un cuestionario para la recolección de información. El instrumento fue respondido por 35 docentes de la Unidad Académica en cuestión y en los resultados se informa sobre la formación académica y profesional del profesor de la UADS; la práctica del docente, las competencias de este profesor universitario, y la evaluación a la que es sometido el docente.en_US
