dc.descriptionThe original proposal of this paper is about the democracy oflabor. It is a new concept whose integrating parts were abstracted from three historical experiences analyzed herein: The Paris Commune ( I 871 ), the Russian Soviets ( 1905-1917) and Popular Unity in Chile ( 1970-1973 ). To clarify its origin, the study explains how liberal democracy functions in a contradictory manner. The contradiction is expressed in the development of this democracy as democracy and exclusion. This contradiction generates a new form of emancipatory organization called the democracy of labor which is the bearer of a new liberty.es_ES
dc.description.abstractLa propuesta original que hacemos en este artículo es la democracia del trabajo. Es una nueva conceptualización cuyas partes integrantes fueron abstraídas de las experiencias históricas aquí analizadas: La Co­muna de París ( 1871 ), Los soviets de Rusia ( 1905-19 I 7) y La Unidad Po­pular en Chile ( 1970-1973 ). Para esclarecer su origen explicamos cómo la democracia liberal funciona de una manera contradictoria. En el desa­rrollo de esta democracia 1a contradicción se expresa así: democracia y exclusión. Esta contradicción origina una nueva forma de organización emancipadora que denominamos Democracia del trabajo y que es por­tadora de una nueva libertad.es_ES
