dc.descriptionThis article aims to give an account of a study of lexical availability, applied to 80 informants, among young adults and adults. The test took a different orientation to that traditionally used, by only using 5 centers of interest. The purpose was to compare between generations, the lexicon available on the use of techno-logies of information and communication, internet, and cyberlanguage. The results showed the following: young adults use more words related to technology and the cyberlanguage in their vocabulary than adults. Although, the differences from the words produced in both generations were not significant.es_ES
dc.description.abstractEl presente artículo tiene como objetivo dar cuenta de un estudio de disponibilidad léxica, aplicado a 80 informantes, entre jóvenes y adultos. La prueba tuvo una orientación distinta a la que tradicionalmente se emplea, al utilizar sólo cinco centros de interés específicos. El propósito fue comparar entre generaciones, el léxico disponible sobre el uso de tecnologías de la información y la comunicación, internet y ciberlen-guaje. Los resultados mostraron lo siguiente: los jóvenes usan en su vocabulario más palabras relacionadas con las tecnologías y el ciberlenguaje, que los adultos, aunque las diferencias de los vocablos producidos en ambas generaciones no fueron notables.es_ES
