dc.description	The works presented here are the product of personal research (New Spain's ecclesiastical institutions and historical cartography) and of postgraduate courses in History. The method of analysis based on historical documentation is predominant, as can be seen in the development of the text and in the sources of reference and consultation. Some of the essays are brief revisions and updates, as they are summaries of their original works; they were published in monographs that are now out of print or in specialized journals that are difficult to find.	en_US
dc.description.abstract	Los trabajos aquí presentados son el producto de líneas de investigación personales (Institución eclesiástica novohispana y Cartografía histórica) y de cursos impartidos en posgrado de Historia. Es preponderante el método de análisis a partir de documentación histórica, como se puede observar en el desarrollo y en las fuentes de referencia y de consulta. Algunos de los ensayos devienen de una somera revisión y actualización por ser compendios de sus originales; fueron publicados en estudios monográficos ya agotados en su tirajes o en revistas especializadas difíciles de conseguir.	en_US
