dc.description	The relationship between geography and history is important in the theoretical framework of historical geography. Landscape, as a methodological principle, is very useful in exploring the analytical possibilities of the geography-history relationship. As a methodological tool for this work, a revisionist view of the landscape is considered as part of understanding the causes that led to the transformation of the physical and social space of the city of Zacatecas during the Battle of June 1914. Given the fundamental importance of scale, in accordance with the issues addressed, both local and regional scales are examined. This perspective views a territory as a historical product that underwent alterations due to the sudden conditions of war, including biological factors, the introduction of technological innovations, and urban changes.	en_US
dc.description.abstract	La relación de la geografía con la historia es importante en el constructo teórico de la geografía histórica. El paisaje, como principio metodológico, es muy útil en la indagación de las posibilidades analíticas de la relación geografía-historia. Como herramienta metodológica para este trabajo, se pondera un revisionismo del paisaje como parte del entendimiento de las causas que condujeron a la transformación del espacio físico y social de la ciudad de Zacatecas en el trance de la batalla de junio de 1914. Al ser fundamental la escala, acorde a la problemática abordada, se trabajan la local y la regional. Es la visión sobre un territorio como un producto histórico que sufrió alteraciones debido a las condiciones súbitas de una guerra con condiciones biológicas, introducción de innovaciones tecnológicas y las alteraciones urbanas.	en_US
