Resumen:
La realidad actual es una crisis mundial de origen ambiental con una sociedad
caracterizada por el consumismo, incluido el de energía eléctrica, con una
conciencia ambiental carente o en formación, influenciada por una cultura global
capitalista; por ello el objetivo de la presente investigación fue: Conocer el consumo
de energía eléctrica y su relación con el nivel de conciencia ambiental de los
alumnos de la escuela primaria independencia. Con este fin la pregunta de
investigación fue la siguiente: ¿Cómo medir el nivel de conciencia ambiental y cuál
es su influencia en el consumo de energía eléctrica de los alumnos de la Escuela
Primaria Independencia, en San José de la Era Vetagrande Zac. durante el ciclo
escolar 2018-2019?; La pregunta de investigación fue respondida a través de un
test seccionado en las cuatro dimensiones de la conciencia ambiental.
Los porcentajes obtenidos entre las respuestas del test y al consumo de energía
eléctrica de los alumnos indican una estrecha relación entre un consumo
responsable y un buen nivel de conciencia ambiental; por lo cual podemos afirmar
que existe una relación bastante notable y hasta dependiente entre el nivel de
conciencia ambiental y las acciones de consumo realizadas por el mismo sujeto.

The current reality is a global crisis of environmental origin with a society
characterized by consumerism, including that of electricity, with an environmental
consciousness lacking or in formation, influenced by a global capitalist culture;
Therefore, the objective of the present investigation was: To know the consumption
of electric energy and its relation with the level of environmental awareness of the
students of the primary school independence. To this end, the research question
was the following: How to measure the level of environmental awareness and what
is its influence on the consumption of electric energy of the students of the
Independencia Elementary School, in San José de la Era Vetagrande Zac. during
the 2018-2019 school year ?; The research question was answered through a
sectioned test on the four dimensions of environmental awareness.
The percentages obtained between the answers of the test and the consumption of
electrical energy of the students indicate a close relationship between responsible
consumption and a good level of environmental awareness; Therefore, we can affirm
that there is a quite remarkable and even dependent relationship between the level
of environmental awareness and the consumption actions carried out by the same
subject.
