Resumen:
La tesis titulada “Cuerpo, transgresión y erotismo en la narrativa de Enrique Serna” estudia
tres ejes clave para comprender la visión sobre el erotismo que el autor postula en su trabajo
literario. La investigación se centra en el análisis de las novelas Ángeles del abismo y La
doble vida de Jesús, obras que contienen variados ejemplos de representación respecto a los
erotismos religioso y homosexual. Uno de los propósitos principales es poner énfasis en lo
concerniente al erotismo, más allá de la focalización que producen temas como el humor
negro, la sátira, la ironía y algunos otros en el estudio de la narrativa del autor. De esta
manera, la investigación reúne un corpus erótico que ayuda a profundizar la problematización
de los distintos casos de transgresión que maneja Enrique Serna. Es así que las ideas centrales
sobre este fenómeno reflejan por parte del autor una forma de representación del cuerpo.

The thesis entitled “Body, transgression and eroticism in Enrique Serna’s narrative” studies
three key axes to understand the vision of eroticism that the author postulates in his literary
work. The research focuses on the analysis of the novels Ángeles del abismo and La doble
vida de Jesús, works that contain varied examples of representation regarding religious and
homosexual eroticisms. One of the main purposes is to place emphasis on eroticism, beyond
the focus that issues such as black humor, satire, irony and some others produce in the study
of the author's narrative. In this way, the investigation gathers an erotic corpus that helps to
deepen the problematization of the different cases of transgression that Enrique Serna
handles. Thus, the central ideas about this phenomenon reflect on the part of the author a
form of representation of the body
