Resumen:
La figura de Eva Perón en la narrativa argentina posterior a su muerte se ha centrado en dos
momentos: la mujer maternal y poderosa que gobernaba el país frente a la imagen virginal
de su cuerpo muerto que hizo del cadáver un personaje de ficción y que migró desde las
versiones de la prensa escrita y de puntos geograficos como la península Ibérica hasta su
regreso a Argentina en el Cementerio de Recoleta. En esta tesis se realiza una revisión de
todas las fuentes del mito tanto literarias como en otros soportes para identificar distintas
etapas en la conformación de un símbolo de gran eficacia y de mayor vigencia. La hipótesis
es que la novela de Daniel Guebel La carne de Evita, escrita en 2014, muestra todas las
facetas del personaje y del mito.

The figure of Eva Perón in Argentine narrative after her death has focused on two moments: the maternal and powerful woman who ruled the country versus the virginal image of her dead body, which turned the corpse into a fictional character and migrated from
versions in the written press and geographical locations such as the Iberian Peninsula until her return to Argentina in the Recoleta Cemetery. This thesis reviews all sources of the myth, both literary and in other media, to identify different stages in the formation of a highly effective and enduring symbol. The hypothesis is that Daniel Guebel's novel La carne de Evita, written in 2014, shows all facets of the character and the myth.
