dc.description	This work is a reflection on the word wife and its historical and cultural meaning, which will be appreciated from the perspective of the film The Good Wife (2018), an American dramatic film, directed by Bjön Runge and written by Jane Anderson, based on the novel of the same name by Meg Wolitzer and starring Glenn Close, Jonathan Pryce and Christian Slater. In this film, the figure of the wife constitutes a criticism of the choices that a woman must make in her life and the losses that these entail, the obstacles that society imposes on her and the battles she fights to change these gender roles.	en_US
dc.description.abstract	Este trabajo es una reflexión acerca de la palabra esposa y su significado histórico y cultural, lo cual se apreciará desde la mirada de la película La buena esposa (The wife, 2018), filme norteamericano de corte dramático, dirigido por Bjön Runge y escrito por Jane Anderson, basado en la novela homónima de Meg Wolitzer y protagonizado por Glenn Close, Jonathan Pryce y Christian Slater. En esta cinta, la figura de la esposa constituye una crítica a las elecciones que una mujer debe tomar en su vida y las pérdidas que éstas conllevan, los obstáculos que la sociedad le impone y las batallas que libra para cambiar dichos roles de género.	en_US
