Resumen:
En este trabajo de investigación el objetivo propuesto consistió en, Analizar la pertinencia
del posgrado de la UAZ (investigación, innovación y vinculación) en su pasado, presente y
el escenario deseable para el año 2038. La metodología aplicada fue diseñada desde la
modalidad mixta, aplicándose una encuesta a docentes investigadores integrados al Sistema
Nacional de Investigadores, desde una muestra por conveniencia. El instrumento
(formulario) se diseñó validándose para su aplicación vía correo electrónico y, los datos se
trataron con Excel en tablas para su interpretación y encontrar significados más amplios. Los
resultados reflejan que la investigación, la innovación y la vinculación en la época del
nacimiento del posgrado, estas dimensiones eran deficientes, prácticamente inexistentes,
posteriormente, la investigación adquiere dimensiones cualitativas y cuantitativas orientadas
hacia la resolución de problemas y generación del conocimiento a cargo de docentes
investigadores con mayor y mejor formación, por su parte la vinculación del posgrado con
los distintos sectores tuvo un desarrollo principalmente impulsado por los mismos docentes,
mientras que el conjunto de políticas educativas implementadas no ha mostrado un impacto
significativo en esta vertiente, finalmente, la innovación se refleja en el currículo, en los
recursos, en los apoyos para las tecnologías e infraestructura general de la institución, aunque
de manera deficiente. Se concluye en que, el posgrado integrara los programas académicos
de manera vertical de licenciatura, maestría y doctorado, seguirá buscando elevar los más
altos estándares de excelencia, diversificando los campos disciplinares de investigación,
colaborando y cooperando a nivel internacional, fortaleciendo las relaciones
interinstitucionales, pero, además, innovando permanentemente los aspectos curriculares y
vinculando las actividades sustantivas con la sociedad y la empresa de cara al 2038 y por
consiguiente impulsando el bienestar general de la población zacatecana.

In this academic work, the proposed objective was to analyze the relevance of the UAZ
postgraduate program (research, innovation and linkage) in its past, present and the desirable
scenario for the year 2038. The applied methodology was designed from the mixed modality,
applying a survey to research teachers that are integrated into the National System of
Researchers, from a convenience sample. The instrument (form) was designed and validated
for its application via email and the data was processed with Excel in tables for posterior
interpretation and to find broader meanings. The results reflect that research, innovation and
linkage at the initial time of the postgraduate program were deficient, practically non-
existent, subsequently, the research acquires qualitative and quantitative dimensions oriented
towards problem resolution and generation of knowledge by research teachers with more and
better training, on another hand, the linking of the postgraduate program with the different
sectors had a development mainly driven by the teachers themselves, while the set of
educational policies implemented has not shown a significant impact in this aspect, finally,
the innovation is reflected in the curriculum, in the resources, in the support for the
technologies and general infrastructure of the institution, although in a deficient way. It is
concluded that the academic programs of bachelor ́s, master ́s and doctoral degrees, will
continue to seek to reach the highest standards of excellence, diversifying the disciplinary
fields of research, collaborating and cooperating at an international level, strengthening inter-
institutional relations, but, in addition, permanently innovating curricular aspects and linking
substantive activities with society and business organizations with with a perspective to 2038
and consequently promoting the general well-being of the Zacatecan population.
