El feminismo en Twitter durante la pandemia por COVID-19: patriarcado y conflicto social

| dc.description | The COVID-19 pandemic forced different governments around the world to generate different isolation measures. The research presented through this article considers the activity of women and feminism supporters on the social network Twitter during the years 2020 and 2021, who published tweets in Spanish. From a qualitative sample, a qualitative content analysis was carried out and a coding framework was constructed that identifies the most relevant theoretical categories for this study,which consider feminism, patriarchal relations and social conflict. In addition to the above, a sentiment analysis was also carried out. All the work described was done in Atlas.Ti 24. The results indicate content where feminism was a relevant topic during the months of isolation, as well as the elements that make it up as content. It is concluded that Twitter was a digital space that contributed to the presence of feminism in the country's daily life during confinement. | en_US |
| dc.description.abstract | La pandemia acontecida por la COVID-19 presionó a los distintos gobiernos en el mundo a generar diferentes medidas de aislamiento. La investigación que se presenta por medio de este artículo considera la actividad de mujeres y simpatizantes con el feminismo en la red social Twitter durante los años 2020 y 2021, que publicaron tweets en idioma español. A partir de una muestra cualitativa casual se realizó un análisis de contenido cualitativo y se construyó un marco de codificación que identifica las categorías teóricas más relevantes para este estudio, las cuales consideran al feminismo, las relaciones patriarcales y el conflicto social. Aunado a lo anterior, también se realizó un análisis de sentimientos. Todo el trabajo descrito se hizo en Atlas.Ti 24. Los resultados indican contenidos donde el feminismo fue un tema relevante durante los meses de aislamiento, así como los elementos que le conforman como el acceso a derechos, participación y un alto a la violencia. Se concluye que Twitter fue un espacio digital que coadyuvar a la expresión masiva del feminismo en la vida cotidiana durante el confinamiento. | en_US |
