dc.description	The aim of this article is to describe the social representations that have No.2 High School students of the Autonomous University of Zacatecas about Physical Education. Theoretical influences of Serge Moscovici (1993) as a basis to explain the phenomenon addressed, refering to a specific type of knowledge, which reveals what people know, what does it mean, what do they believe, what do they judge, what do they feel and how do they behave in their daily work in front of something or someone. The methodological approach was qualitative, through a questionnarie that focus on three sections which complement each other. The results are shown as the idea students have about Physical Education, the social value they attach to it and the attitude they show towards it.	en_US
dc.description.abstract	El objetivo de este artículo es describir las representaciones sociales que tienen los alumnos de la Preparatoria No.2 de la Universidad Autónoma Zacatecas en torno a la Educación Física. Se abordan las influencias teóricas de Serge Moscovici (1993) como base para explicar el fenómeno, por hacer referencia a un tipo específico de conocimiento, que deja ver sobre qué sabe la gente, qué significado tiene, qué cree, qué opina, qué siente y cómo se comporta en su quehacer cotidiano ante algo o alguien. El procedimiento metodológico fue de tipo cualitativo, mediante un cuestionario centrado en tres apartados que se complementan entre sí. Como resultados se detalla la conceptualización que tienen los alumnos de la Educación Física, la valoración social que le otorgan a la misma y la actitud que muestran hacia la materia.	en_US
