dc.description	The question with which the title of the book begins is direct and emphatic because it is necessary to distinguish what we understand by sexuality and sexual education. The response on these two variables, sexuality and education in the public school, from the subject-teachers who implement it in the pedagogical act and the discourses on sexuality of these teachers, constitute the central part of the analysis of Laura Rangel's research . Indeed, the author maintains that the discourses on sexuality that circulate in school spaces are usually for cultural reasons, a source of curiosity and fascination, but also of controversy, conflict and censorship. The problematization of the question refers to the linguistic practices, visions and ideological conceptions that participate in the configuration of social reality, and that are part of a reproductive culture of heterosexuality. Hence the need for a critical, reflective look that seeks to unravel “topics, common places, ideologies, among other elements that, together with the compendium of scientifically supported knowledge that make up educational programs, result in what we call sexual education. ” Sexuality is the social construction constituted by the set of knowledge and experiences on sexual exercise between men and women, conditioned by the historical context.	en_US
dc.description.abstract	La pregunta con la que comienza el título del libro es directa y enfática debido a que es necesario distinguir lo que entendemos por sexualidad y por educación sexual. La respuesta sobre estas dos variables, sexualidad y educación en la escuela pública, de parte de los sujetos-maestros que la implementan en el acto pedagógico y los discursos sobre sexualidad de estos docentes, constituyen la parte central del análisis de la investigación de Laura Rangel. En efecto, la autora sostiene que los discursos sobre la sexualidad que circulan en los espacios escolares, suelen ser por razones culturales, fuente de curiosidad y fascinación, pero también de controversia, conflicto y censura. La problematización de la cuestión remite a las prácticas lingüísticas, visiones y concepciones ideológicas que participan en la configuración de la realidad social, y que son parte de una cultura reproductora de la heterosexualidad. De ahí la necesidad de una mirada crítica, reflexiva que busque desentrañar “los tópicos, lugares comunes, ideologías, entre otros elementos que, junto con el compendio de conocimiento científicamente sustentado que conforman los programas educativos, dan como resultado eso que denominamos educación sexual.” La sexualidad es la construcción social constituida por el conjunto de saberes y experiencias sobre el ejercicio sexual entre hombres y mujeres, condicionada por el contexto histórico.	en_US
