Resumen:
La violencia hacia las mujeres universitarias es un fenómeno que ha estado
siempre presente en el devenir histórico. Desde antes del movimiento #MeTooUAZ,
las estudiantes, docentes y administrativas de la Universidad Autónoma de
Zacatecas habían realizado ya algunas acciones para denunciar y exigir atención y
el debido tratamiento de la problemática, pero sus esfuerzos no lograron hacer eco
ni en la universidad ni en la sociedad, motivo por el cual, durante los últimos años,
las protestas han ido subiendo de tono haciéndose acompañar de otras estrategias
digitales como el uso del Internet y las redes sociales, con la finalidad de visibilizar
dicha problemática, llegando con ello a una audiencia cada vez mayor.
En este contexto, hacia el año 2019 mujeres universitarias alzaron la voz
para exponer al mundo las diversas formas en que han sido violentadas y la
impunidad en que estos hechos han quedado al interior de la Universidad Autónoma
de Zacatecas. Por ello, haciendo suyo el movimiento social de corte mundial para
denunciar la violencia machista, fue lanzado el #MeTooUAZ, que les generó a las
iniciadoras incluso amenazas de muerte, por lo que se vieron forzadas a cerrar el
sitio apenas unos días después de su apertura, pero como ya se habían viralizado
los testimonios ahí vertidos, las autoridades de dicha institución educativa
comenzaron a ponerle atención a la problemática en mención, realizando una seria
de propuestas sobre su abordaje y solución. La mayoría de estas ha quedado hoy
en buenas intenciones, mientras que otras avanzan de manera desesperadamente
lenta.
De esta manera, la presente investigación tiene como finalidad analizar el
impacto del movimiento #MeTooUAZ, para determinar si fue o no, éste el detonante
que finalmente visibilizó la violencia contra la mujer en la Universidad Autónoma de
Zacatecas. Se parte de un enfoque cualitativo, a través de entrevistas
semiestructuradas con especialistas, funcionarias, estudiantes, administrativas,
directivas y víctimas.
