Resumen:
Las literaturas indígenas tienen su importancia desde siglos
atrás, porque a pesar del proceso de mestizaje cultural en la actualidad
conservan rasgos estilísticos que las distinguen. Las expresiones
literarias poseen elementos particulares, involucran al colectivo
y se transmiten de manera oral. Cumplen con la función de testimoniar
sus orígenes, la vida, la muerte, además, tienen un fin
práctico: lo pedagógico y la enseñanza moral. El análisis literario en
los cuentos y/o relatos de la región maya lacandona permite observar
no sólo su complejidad, los componentes literarios, la intertextualidad,
sino su aportación a la literatura mexicana.

Indigenous literatures have been important for centuries
